Bas Augustinus

Bas (2002) started as Consultant Financial Due Diligence at SINCERIUS in 2025. In this role, he supports the team with various projects and gains practical experience in the field of Financial Due Diligence.

Bas completed his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Furthermore, he has finished his master’s degree in Financial Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his studies, he also spent a term at LUISS Business School in Rome as an exchange student, where he further broadened his international perspective on the field.

His first encounter with SINCERIUS occurred during the Erasmus Recruitment Days and an in-house day, where he participated in several Financial Due Diligence-related case studies. These experiences provided him with a clear understanding of both the work involved and the company culture. What particularly attracted him was the combination of a professional work environment with an informal, collegial atmosphere. There is room for collaboration and personal development, while simultaneously striving for high-quality results.

In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Bas is also active in his free time. He plays football, regularly works out at the gym, and is an avid cyclist, runner, and hiker. He is also involved in volunteer work: he contributes to the Fietsmaatjes organisation in his hometown, where he serves as the head of fundraising. As a colleague, Bas is always eager to learn something new to expand his knowledge and skills. This combination of athleticism, community involvement, and a strong drive to learn makes him a motivated and versatile consultant.
