Emiel Goldman

Emiel is a Mid-Level Business Intelligence Consultant at SINCERIUS. Here, he conducts research into automatically mapping general ledger accounts using machine learning models.

Emiel graduated with a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Delft, after which he continued his academic journey by pursuing a Master's in Business Analytics at the VU in Amsterdam. His intrinsic analytical nature, combined with a meticulous attention to detail, makes him a valuable asset to any project. Emiel's passion for solving puzzles helps him understand and tackle complex issues. His academic trajectory has not only consolidated his foundation in mathematics and programming, but has also provided him with strategic insights acquired during his Business Analytics studies.

In the financial domain, Emiel brings practical experience from two previous internships at pension and insurance companies. During these internships, he constructed asset liability models and conducted analyses on the effect of the upcoming pension system on life cycle products. With this practical experience, Emiel has acquired a valuable combination of knowledge in the fields of analysis and finance.

Outside the domain of data analysis, Emiel enjoys a fast-paced run, relaxing bike rides, or more recent adventures in bouldering. On sunny days, you will probably find Emiel gently bobbing along on a boat, and on holiday, Emiel loves camping, hiking through the mountains or skiing. He also enjoys travelling to far-flung destinations; for instance, he took a gap year after secondary school during which he travelled through Southeast Asia.
