Freek Schouten

Freek has been working as a Financial Due Diligence Consultant at SINCERIUS since 2024. He completed his Master’s degrees in Strategic Management and Finance at Tilburg University. During his studies, he developed a strong interest in the dynamic world of M&A, where he can combine analytical skills with strategic insight.

Prior to joining SINCERIUS, Freek gained experience as a Corporate Finance Analyst at an accounting firm. Here, he was involved in various due diligence investigations, M&A processes, and valuation issues. This experience allowed him to further sharpen his analytical skills and gain a deep understanding of the financial and operational aspects of companies across various sectors.

What he finds particularly interesting about his work at SINCERIUS is that he can apply his analytical skills on a daily basis to analyse financial data and identify trends. In addition, the variety in projects and sectors offers a steep learning curve, allowing him to continuously learn and challenge himself. The variation in the work ensures that each assignment brings new challenges and insights, as he works with companies from various sectors and in different team dynamics.

In addition to his work, Freek likes to stay active and enjoys spending time with friends and family. At weekends, he can be found on the golf or padel court and he tries to go to the gym several times a week or go for a run.
