Hugo Jansen

Hugo (1998) is a Manager at SINCERIUS, where he can pursue his passion for finance and strategy. With his academic background and practical experience gained, he has developed into a valuable member of the team.

Hugo obtained his Master's degree in Accountancy & Control from the University of Amsterdam, specialising in Accountancy. This programme provided him with a sound understanding of the complex world of financial reporting and auditing. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Business Economics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, which gave him a broader perspective on various aspects of business. This combination of knowledge enables him to apply the right approach when analysing financial situations.

Before joining SINCERIUS, Hugo worked for several years in a finance department at a real estate company. This experience gave him practical insight into financial processes within a business. He learned to navigate a complex environment, analysing financial data and gaining insights that are of added value to his colleagues and himself. His time at the real estate company also helped him further develop his communication and collaboration skills, which are essential in his current role as a consultant.

In addition to his professional career, Hugo highly values his friendships and his free time. He enjoys spending time with his friends, exploring the world and experiencing new adventures with them. Travelling offers him the opportunity to broaden his horizons, experience new cultures and expand his perspective. He is also an enthusiast of strategic board games. These games allow him to further develop his analytical and strategic skills, which not only enhances his enjoyment but also contributes to his professional growth.

During his student years, Hugo also held several board positions. This demonstrates his commitment to his academic and social environment, as well as his ability to show leadership and organisational skills. These experiences helped him build a strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
