Iris Sekewael

Iris Sekewael has been working as HR manager at SINCERIUS since summer 2025. She is responsible for the HR policy, thereby facilitating both the company and all individual employees.

Iris has broad work experience in various industries. After her studies (CE), she worked as a Marketeer in retail for years. She has been a manufacturer of leather outerwear, for which she lived in Nanjing (China) for four years. There she was responsible for the HR policy of both the office in China and for HQ in NL. The logistics knowledge she built up came in handy when, upon her return, she worked for a company that supplied international airports, after which she focused entirely on the HR profession and completed the HRM professional training. Due to the pandemic, air traffic came to a standstill and Iris started working as Head of HR at Poké Perfect, a fast-food restaurant chain in fresh, healthy food. The move to the M&A/FDD sector may seem unexpected, but given her commercial-economic background, it is not really surprising.

Iris is an attentive colleague who is driven and result-oriented. She can initiate changes while respecting what exists. Through her enthusiasm and listening ear, she facilitates colleagues and equips them in the performance of their duties. Because she lives only 3 bridges away from the office, Iris is always willing to offer a helping hand outside of working hours as well.

Outside of work, Iris helps her fencing club with outdoor activities or major competitions, is active as a volunteer at NL Cares and is socially involved with those who need temporary help. City trips, viewing the solar eclipse, and cheering on friends during sports competitions are also common pastimes.
