Maarten Kooij

Maarten has been working as a Sr. Consultant at SINCERIUS since May 2026, where he is involved in financial due diligence projects.

Prior to that, Maarten worked at Polestar Capital, where he progressed to Investment Associate. In that role, he was involved in debt and equity transactions in infrastructure, energy transition, and e-mobility. He obtained his Master's in Finance from VU Amsterdam.

What appeals to him about SINCERIUS is the combination of an ambitious team, broad exposure to deals, and a good working atmosphere. He enjoys the analytical depth required by FDD and gets excited about understanding businesses. Maarten is friendly and always willing to lend a hand. He loves social activities and gladly contributes to a good team spirit.

In his spare time, he can be found in the gym, on his bike, or in the Austrian snow. He enjoys travelling and prefers to spend his time with friends and family.
