Stan van den Hemel

Stan has been working at SINCERIUS as a Financial Due Diligence Consultant since August 2025.

He studied at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He completed a Bachelor's in International Business Administration and a Master's in Strategic Management at the Rotterdam School of Management. He graduated cum laude from both. For his Master's thesis, he conducted research into value creation by Private Equity parties, with a focus on Buy-and-Build strategies.

During his studies, Stan developed a strong interest in finance and M&A. He realised that you need both strategy and financial insights to truly understand a company. The world of M&A offers precisely that combination, in a dynamic environment. With a broad interest in the field, he made a conscious decision to start in FDD at SINCERIUS. This work allows him to build a solid foundation in financial knowledge. The rapid turnaround times enable him to quickly analyse many different companies and therefore learn a great deal. For Stan, SINCERIUS was the perfect start to his career.

Alongside his studies, he worked as a Teaching Assistant for the information management course, teaching undergraduate students all about data. There, he learned how important effective data usage can be for businesses. Consequently, the data-driven approach of SINCERIUS aligns well with his experience and interests.

Stan originally comes from Twente and brings his down-to-earth roots to the workplace. In his spare time, he enjoys being on the tennis court. Furthermore, he likes visiting football stadiums and enjoys cooking (and eating) good food. He loves travelling to new countries to discover new cultures.
