Steef van Kuijen
Associate Partner
Steef is an Associate Partner at SINCERIUS, where he plays a versatile role. In addition to his involvement in diverse due diligence projects, he is also actively committed to the development of people, teams, and the further growth of the organisation.
What gives Steef the most energy? Working together with different teams on complex FDD projects and thereby adding real value to purchasing and sales processes. No single transaction is the same: every deal has its own dynamics, challenges, and client needs. It is precisely this variety, combined with uncovering and translating valuable financial insights, that makes his work so fascinating to him. It helps clients make well-considered decisions with confidence.
Within SINCERIUS, Steef is known for his infectious energy, drive, and pragmatic yet precise approach. He strongly believes in the power of collaboration and is convinced that making the most of everyone's talents leads to successful and valuable projects. He sees a positive team dynamic as an essential building block for achieving the best result.
Steef is rarely idle outside the office either. He has a great passion for sports, travel, and spending quality time with his family. In his free time, he enjoys being active with crossfit, golf, football, running, and padel. In addition, he spends a lot of time on the sidelines of the sports fields where his daughters play hockey and tennis. Cooking, reading, and enjoying pleasant, epicurean evenings with friends and family are also among his favourite activities.
Steef has a strong financial foundation. He obtained his MSc in Finance from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2011 and started his career at Deloitte, where he worked for 7.5 years, the last five of which were within Transaction Services. He then continued his career at RSM, where he was co-responsible for building and expanding a successful FDD team focused on the mid-market. After another 7.5 years, he made the transition to SINCERIUS to further deploy his experience, expertise, and entrepreneurship.
His active and engaged character was already evident during his student days, including through board roles within both the golf and football clubs.
