VT Group & Fluvia

The VT Group, the Rotterdam-based independent tanker shipping company, has acquired a shareholding in Fluvia. With this acquisition, VT Group strengthens its position in the transport of chemicals and minerals on the Rhine and associated waterways. The transaction adds 19 transport vessels to the VT Group fleet, including ten stainless steel vessels for the transport of chemicals and nine vessels for the transport of mineral cargoes. This increases VT Group's total transport capacity in this segment to 29 vessels. In addition, around 140 Fluvia employees will join VT Group.
